Fortune Bay also gives back to school districts across the Iron Range, food shelves, animal shelters, and many more! We will remain committed to our communities and to being a great neighbor to you all! One of the ways we give back to our community is through our Local Business Spotlight, where we purchase giftcards from local businesses to give away during our promotional drawings! The Good Ol' Days Bar & Grill was re-established in 2004 and was known as Skala's Bar who originally was established in 1894! Good Ol' Days is known for their great food, fun times, and 1950's theme! They also won the "Best Bloody Mary" contest in Minnesota in 2017 after taking second place 3 years in a row!
Charlie Carlson and Victoria Meloche wanted to share their love of vintage and antiques in northern Minnesota and opened UBetcha Antiques & Uniques in 2015! Customers can expect to find unique treasures and one-of-a-kind items made by local artisans at fair prices!
Jeanne's Cards & Gifts was opened in 1996 by Jeanne Driscoll who has been a resident of the Tower-Soudan area her whole life. Jeanne offers a large selection of greeting cards, artwork, collectibles, and Lake Vermilion gifts that are one-of-a-kind!
After Dawn graduated from Cook High School, she wanted to pursue her passion and went to cosmetology school and opened her own business. Dawn's Hidden Shears & Tanning Salon offers many great hair services and products, and more!

Monsters Ink is located in Virginia and opened their doors in April 2019! This local business is a full-service embrodiery, direct to garment printing business! Bleu Salon & Spa is located in Virginia and opened their doors in June 2020! Their goal is to provide the Iron Range with something new and trendy! Valentini's Supper Club is an amazing Italian restaurant locaed in Chisholm and originally opened in 1934! In addition to their Bar/Restaurant, they offer catering for special events and weddings too! Valentini's takes pride in their homemade food that brings big town flavors in a smal town atmosphere!

Businesses owned by the Bois Forte Band are managed by the Bois Forte Development Corporation (BFDC). The two primary goals of BFDC are to generate revenue to fund programs and services for Band members and to build businesses that create employment and career opportunities for Band members and residents of our neighboring communities.
